Every month, PJ Library sends more than 670,000 free Jewish books to families around the world. PJ Library shares stories that celebrate Jewish values, culture, and tradition, all at no cost to families.

PJ Library in South Africa is a programme of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, implemented in partnership with the South African Board of Jewish Education and the United Herzlia Schools. The award-winning books celebrate Jewish culture, values and traditions through a wide range of stories and beautiful illustrations.

Sign Up to Receive the Gift of Free Books

Children in South Africa have already been receiving PJ Library books since April 2018. We invite you to register if you meet the eligibility guidelines below. Please use this form to enrol your child(ren) for a direct subscription, which will be available for pickup at a designated location.

Please note that once your child graduates Grade 2, he/she will no longer receive PJ Library books.
